Explore north of Iran tour starts in Tehran, city of museums and art galleries. Later we keep our way to Behshahr city. We have stop at Kabudvall waterfall. UNESCO site of Kavus dome is where we encounter one of the best sample of tomb-towers. We continue our drive to Damghan and Semnan to visit both ancient and contemporary sites.

Day 1: Welcome to Iran

Welcome to Tehran, vivid and lovely city of Iran. DanaTrips host is available to assist you at IKA airport and transfer you to the hotel.

After a healthy breakfast, morning sightseeing includes famous museums of Tehran in historic part. Iran National Museum is on the top of the list.

Next site is fabulous Golestan Palace with those colorful tile-work and mirror-work that attracts any tourist.

We have a stop for lunch at bazaar and its area, Iranian local dishes will help you to recover your energy. Continue with Abghineh Museum which is known as Qavam house,This two-storey building was built by Hans Hollein, Austrian architect in late Qajar period.

Tonight is time to enjoy a welcome Iranian style dinner.

Day 2: Tehran, full day excursion

  • National Jewelry Museum
  • Carpet Museum
  • Tabiat Bridge

Today, try to unravel the Pahlavi mystery by visiting Saad Abad Complex with over 14 buildings. Later we will back to ancient region of Ferdowsi St. to visit treasury of national jewels, National Jewelry Museum.

Final visit will be Carpet Museum where Persian carpets which are well-known in the world in terms of beauty, texture, quality of design, various form of flat weaving, longevity and natural colors.

The rest of the day is free we can also visit contemporary newborn Tabiat Bridge the largest pedestrians overpass in the whole country.

Day 3: Behshahr city tour

  • Safavid bathhouse
  • Huto cave

Morning drive to Behshahr. Visit to Abbas Abad garden & dam and Safavid bathhouse. En-route visit Huto cave and ancient Sefid Chah cemetery*. Keep on our way to Bandar Torkaman

Overnight stay at Bandar Torkaman.

Day 4: Birdwatching half day tour
  • Bird watching in Miankaleh
  • Visit to Ashuradeh island

Breakfast in the accommodation. Morning visit to Miankaleh for bird watching and Ashuradeh island. Enjoy our day by traditional music and dance. Continue to Gorgan.

Overnight stay at Gorgan.

Day 5: Visit to Kabudval waterfall

  • Khaled Nabi cemetery

Breakfast in the accommodation. Drive to Ali Abad for visiting Kabudval waterfall, the largest full-moss one worldwide. Keep on the way to Gonbad for visiting ancient Khaled Nabi cemetery.

Day 6: Gonbad city tour

  • Horse riding club

After a healthy breakfast, morning visit to Kavus Dome. Later visit to horse riding club for visiting horse riding and polo matches.

Overnight in Gonbad.

Day 7: Bastam & Damghan city tour
  • Bayazid mausoleum
  • Kashaneh tower
  • Tarikhaneh mosque
  • Pir Alamdar tower

After breakfast depart to Bastam. Visit to Bayazid complex and Kashaneh tower. Continue to Damghan for visiting enchanting Tarikhaneh mosque and Pir Alamdar tomb-tower.

Overnight stay at  Damghan.

Day 8: Semnan city tour
  • Semnan Jameh mosque
  • Semnan bazaar
Breakfast at the eco-lodge. Drive to Semnan. Visit Semnan Gate, Jameh mosque and Semnan bazaar. Keep on way to Tehran.

Day 9: Back to home

Transfer to Tehran airport, IKA.
